Ok, I know, I've been away far too long, but other things are happening in my life that mean I don't get to come back here and write in this blog very often. My last post A Writer's Amazing Resource to Make Money Online, was months ago and I can't believe so much time has passed, so I must apologise to everyone who's popped their head around the door and found nothing new to read!
So where do I go from here? I've been reading a few blogs of other people to see whats been going on lately with regards to the online world of how to make money. There are some pretty good ones around that teach you how to make money online for beginners if you know where to look. Anyway, it seems Google have been busy in my absence and upsetting a lot of people by changing the way they treat links.
Well, I can't say I'm all that surprised, as they have to make sure their index is as relevant as possible. With a load of savvy marketers getting all kinds of links from everywhere, they had to do something or the index would once again be full of irrelevant, MFA type sites and that can't be good for them or the people that use their search tool.
This has meant that the recent surge in web 2.0 and the associated social links that could be obtained so easily (especially with certain software packages) is now not so useful to people trying to link their way to the top of the SERPs. Social links are not given much weight nowadays, so unless you have the means to obtain many thousands of them, they won't do you all that much good.
As always, obtaining the best quality links, which are the hardest to get, is still the way to rank the best. They are the highly coveted one-way back links given to you from owners of high ranking, authority sites in a given niche. If you get one of these links, that tells Google that your site has great relevancy to have warranted the giving of the link from the authority site in you're niche. Which will catapult you over the sites with less powerful links in the SERPs.
That's the way it really should be for the index to remain relevant for searchers. Of course, by building your own authority site in a niche, you can give links to some of your newer sites and get them to rank well also.
Which is a good way to dominate a niche and this is one of the ways that you learn how to make money online!
That's it for today. I'll try to get back here again soon, but I'm not making any promises!

A Writer's Amazing Resource to Make Money Online
After my last blog post ages ago Niche Make Money Ways, I'm back with some great info on how to make money writing.
Writing articles for your own blogs is a necessary step for developing a readable SEO friendly place where visitors can be certain of a good read.
But it doesn't end there. I’d like to highlight the virtues of a really fantastic additional source of income for anyone who is interested in making money from writing. It’s a place called Constant Content.
Constant Content are an article/content brokerage website not unlike Associated Content (AC). The difference between the two is that Constant Content takes written work from writers situated worldwide, whereas AC accepts only writers that live in the USA.
The potential amount of income that can be earned from Constant Content are far higher than you would expect to earn from AC. This is chiefly due to the fact that the way of selling your articles is rather different for each company.
AC will accept your article and pay you straight away for it. The amount is normally around $5-$7 per 500 word article, although that figure may grow the longer you are a member and the greater the number of articles you submit (which are accepted) to approximately $10 per article. The articles you submit then become the property of AC, which they can then offer for sale to website owners as “usage” rights. This means they are able to resell each of your articles over and over meaning they are not unique.
Constant Content, alternatively are rather different. When you submit your article to Constant Content, you set down the way you require it to be sold. It can be from a choice of either "usage" (the cheapest), "unique" or "full rights" (the most expensive).
This is so good to know. The majority of content buyers make use of Constant Content looking to obtain "full rights" articles. This means they become the sole owners of that article and can put their name to it as their own composition, which is the main reason why it's the most popular. It is also guaranteed as original and unique content, which further adds to its appeal.
As to earning money, for a 500 word, "full rights" article, the usual fee is around $40. Of this, the author is paid 65% ($26), while the remainder is taken as commission and expenses by Constant Content.
Another difference to be considered is that Constant Content do not pay you, the author for your article right away as does Associated Content. What occurs is that your article remains in your own portfolio on the site and waits for a content buyer to select it. That’s the main downside and one reason why so many potentially accomplished authors drop out. People are often impatient and don't want to be made to hang around for their article to be sold.
However, for those writers that are prepared to wait, once an article is sold, you get paid by Constant Content at the start of each month. Logic dictates that the more articles you have in your portfolio, then the more articles you will sell. Over time, your portfolio will build up and provide you with a steady flow of money as long as you continue to keep submitting more articles in order to keep it expanding. As an author, you will begin to get known by a lot of the frequent content buyers and if they like what you're writing in your portfolio, you may very well be requested to do private work for them, which a lot of the regular authors there do. This can actually turn out to be quite lucrative.
Wouldn't you prefer to earn $26 for a 500 word article and maybe wait a while for it, than get a cheap $5-7 straight away.
I recommend Constant Content if you would like to make a higher income from your writing work and are fine with being patient.
Here are some tips to getting the best out of CC. Always continue submitting good quality articles. While you might not sell any right away, don't be impatient but submit more articles and soon, your first article will sell. Its a great feeling and will spur you on to submit even more. By submitting your articles regularly and often, other sales will quickly follow.
To help you decide what topics to write about, Constant Content publish a list of content requested by buyers both on the site and via email to each author. Even if they don’t buy yours, it increases your chances of selling your artucles to someone else. Its also a handy gauge as what subjects are hot amongst buyers.

Niche Make Money Ways
After my last post, Fast Make Money?, things have taken a turn at my workplace so I can't post as much as I want in here and my other blogs.
But just to keep things ticking along, here is a short post about why Blogger Blogs are so cool!
I know lots of experts in this field tell you to get your own hosting and buy your own domains, which is quite sensible really if you need to have that control over your cyber real estate and if maybe you intend to build up some websites and sell them on for a profit later.
But if you can't be bothered with all that hassle, but still want to make money online, then Blogger blogs are an excellent way of doing it without any monetary outlay. So if you screw up, it doesn't cost you anything!
I also know that having blogs in the make money section of the world is not the place to actually make money. That's because there is too much competition from other eager Internet marketers who not only know more than me about SEO and hogging the top pages in the search engines, but if you can get them to even visit your blog, they won't click on your ads.
But having blogger blogs doesn't limit you to the make money sector.
I have some blogs in other sectors (the Americans like to call them Niches, except they can't pronounce the word right and call it "nitch" instead of the proper French word pronounced "neesh"). But that's no big deal, we all pronounce words differently - try understanding a Geordie if you're not from around there and you'll know what I mean!
Anyway, that's got nothing to do with how to make money! These niches are as numerous as hairs on your head (well, not my dad's head - he's nearly bald!) and some are more or less competitive than others. So you just need to find the right one that is searched on enough with a low number of competing pages and a product that people will want to actually buy and you can use keywords and back links to get your free blog up there in the search engines top pages.
That way you'll attract targeted organic traffic that are looking to buy the very thing you have for sale on your blog - in the form of affiliate products or PPC ads. Bingo!
That's the end of my sermon for today. Catch you later!

Fast Make Money?
Fast Make Money? is the title, but you might be wondering why... Well, as I haven't been in here for a while due to other workloads that I couldn't drag myself away from I though it was about time I wrote something - and it should be to do with fast make money. It may not exactly lead on from the last post Make Money Attracting Advertisers, but they will all be fast make money related so it's ok, I suppose.
So why the strange title and the repeated phrase, fast make money?
Well, I'm doing some keyword accumulating for this blog as it doesn't have much in the way of keyword authority as it stands. That's about to change as I start doing some long needed SEO on this blog. Starting with this post, I'm going to start targeting the fast make money long tail keywords that inhabit the base make money niche.
So this post gets fast make money as you might have already guessed!
Where do I get these long tail keywords from?
Well, I do some keyword research around the make money niche and see what long tails are searched on most that also don't have so much competition at Google. There are a few of these that still get high search numbers over a month but the competition is in hundreds of thousands of pages instead of tens or hundreds of millions.
Ok, that might still sound too much to cope with, but when you really look at the tough competition the keywords "make money" and "make money online" are the toughest two to fight against and there are probably a hundred or so sites (owned by very clued up SEO experts) that you have to go up against. That's too many.
So the long tails that I'll be targeting like fast make money only have maybe twenty or so highly SEO'd sites vying for the top spots, which means there is a chance of getting in on some of that action.
Also it gives me a chance to link out to a friend's sites from this post, as it is now highly how to make money fast oriented, the link juice will be quite useful to him.
So how does this post help you?
Well it shows you first hand how to take a long tail keyword like fast make money, spread it liberally around your post (we're looking for about a 5% keyword density, but its not critical) and then go out and get some inbound links from other sites with that keyword as the anchor text.
Of course, if anyone wants to help me a little and link to me from their sites, I'd be most appreciative.
Oh, one more thing, linking from sites that are not in the same niche is not much use to anyone. It would be no good me linking to a gardening site as the keyword would not carry any authority.
So that's about it for today's long awaited update on how to fast make money with me, Chelsea!
